Wound Care Nurse Practitioner/ or Physician Assistant-Traveling-Elite Rapid Deployment Team

Join our ELITE RAPID DEPLOYMENT TEAM Traveling-Wound Care Nurse Practitioner/Physician's Assistant. We are looking for the top talent in the wound care field who are dedicated to excellence and diligence in their daily workflow with strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a valid unrestricted driver's license. This position involves planning, directing, and evaluating residents in senior living facilities and in-home wound care. The selected candidate will diagnose and treat various wound types, conduct specific lab tests, offer referrals, and execute bedside procedures in alignment with their expertise and available equipment. Collaboration with internal and external medical partners is essential for comprehensive care and treatment of in-home and facility-based patients. This is a 100% travel position!


Key Responsibilities:

- Provide comprehensive wound care management, including debridement, negative pressure wound therapy, application of specialized dressings, and other industry leading wound healing treatment modalities

- Conduct thorough patient evaluations and develop personalized care plans to improve wound healing and overall health.

-Perform procedures and specialized wound care treatments at the patient's bedside.

- Collaborate closely with other healthcare providers, including physicians, nurses, and case managers, to ensure coordinated care and positive patient outcomes.

- Document all patient encounters in the EMR system (Dr. Chronos) and ensure timely communication with the clinical team.

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of wound care protocols and advancements in treatment modalities.

- Educate patients and caregivers on wound management techniques, including prevention and maintenance.

- Travel extensively across various regions, adapting to different healthcare settings and communities.

- Serve as a clinical expert, providing leadership and guidance to local wound care teams when necessary.

Qualifications:

- Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with a valid, active license in good standing or able to obtain within 90 days from hire date.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in wound care or a related field.

- Certification in wound care preferred (WCC, CWON, or CWS).

- Expertise in performing wound debridement, negative pressure wound therapy, and other advanced wound care techniques.

- Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions.

- Willingness to travel extensively and adapt to different regional healthcare needs.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to educate and engage patients.

- Commitment to patient-centered care and improving patient outcomes in underserved communities.

-Proficiency in electronic medical records systems, preferably Dr. Chronos.
